|I have this relatively simple design of a logo formation from sphere's
but it's a bit challenging to a non-scripting/coding animator.
The basic idea of the animation is that the spheres organically
orbit into frame in a clockwise rotation and begin to connect
or join together to create connected segments that ultimately
resolves into a kind of metaball-ish logo. Please see attached image.
I really don't want to do this by hand for the sake of client changes
and possible timing tweaks later. I tried using a combination of a
vortex force with a find target op but two or more particles are
going to the same surface points and causing overlapping issues,
gaps, and isn't looking very graceful at all.
The challenge is to get each of the sphere particles to organically swirl
in and go to one point each. I heard of a way to define
a target position for every particle but it seems to involve scripting
which is way over my head. Just wish they had a damn checkbox or
options in the basic operators for more control to do this.
Do any of you know of a basic idiot proof tutorial for something
Thanks in advance for the help,
