Not sure what I am doing wrong.

I have a sphere, with a FDD and an animated noise on it, to create an air bubble.
In Shape Control I have 'Animated Shape' checked
I then add 2 Random sub operators that link to the sphere radius and the noise seed, to randomize the size and animation of the bubbles. How ever these need 'New In Event' operators, and a soon as I add the 'New In Event' the particles no longer animate.

What have I got wrong or is there a better way to do it.

Alvaro asked a similar question on the pflow cgsociety forum.

You need to output new with a new in event your random subops.

Then input custom choosing your outputs and pipe those into the output standard.

I have an event with the lead particle(s) that cruise along the surface, occasionally spawning/ CBAP braindumps
splitting/branching. I have and another spawn op that dumps into a new event which leaves particle trails behind with no speed - creating a line of particles indicative of where the lead particles have been
