Spray Master enables you to spray geometry, both 2-D and 3-D, as particles onto the surface of one or more objects, and then convert those particles into other type of geometry.
Spray Master works in any orthogonal viewport such as a Front view or a Top View. Particles are painted onto/above/below the surface of objects in that view through the use of either a freehand spray tool, or making use of splines that you draw in the viewport. The Spray Master particles may be replaced with built-in objects such as 2D squares, rectangles, or even notes, or 3D spheres, cones, or other objects. You may also create any object, and optionally animate the object, then use it in Spray Master.
Here’s the list of Spray Master features:
- Use any MAX object or group of objects as one or multiple custom particles
- Comes with over 40 standard particle shapes (both 2D and 3D)
- Use any MAX object to "mask" parts of another object to be sprayed on
- Completely definable and animatable spray rate and nozzle distribution of particles
- Particles can be set up to accumulate with each successive stroke
- User can uniformly or non-uniformly scale individual particles to give variance to the overall look
